Singing bowls with exact tuning (annouoncement)

IHandmade, hammered singing bowls will, also due to the overtones, never be available with exact tuning. We will offer exactly tuned singing bowls from India by the end of the year 2005. These are not hammered but cast because only this manufacturing process can guarantee a really constant tuning standard. For making these singing bowls it is necessary to build a mold for every single size which is very cost-intensive. Please make your enquiry by about autumn 2005 if you are interested.

Until then we can offer you to make you a set of any number of singing bowls from our hammered singing bowls from India which will produce no dissonant sounds within the set and sound harmoniously together. If you, however, require an exact tuning of the singing bowls for playing together with other instruments, we can offer you the Quin Singing Bowl as the only alternative at the moment which comes in three different tunings. Please even in this case let us know if you require a very exact tuning.
