In this concert recording from 2002 we present sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan performing two ragas traditionally associated with the rainy season. First a full alaap in Raga Miyan Ki Malhar, followed by compositions in Raga Desh. The Miyan Ki Malhar includes a rarely performed tar paran section where Fateh Singh Gangani accompanies on pakhawaj. The Desh includes solos and accompaniment from both Fateh Singh Gangani and tabla player Rashid Mustafa.

Recorded Live at The Royal Festival Hall, London, 27th September 2002. This DVD presents a fusionesque concerto of two powerful stringed instruments. This DVD features the performance at the Royal Festival Hall in two parts, firstly Raga Kirwani, which is a trio performance of the young Khan brothers and Matthew on the cello. The second part features the trio again but this time accompanied by Sarod Maestro Amjad Ali Khan performing Raga Kalavati.
